Mecalac Grows Its Zero-Emission Equipment Line for Urban Construction

MECALAC LEADS THE CHARGE IN ZERO- EMISSION URBAN CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

Mecalac has reinforced its position as a pioneer in sustainable construction with the industry’s first line of medium-sized electric machines: the 11-ton e12 excavator loader, demoed as a concept for the first time in 2018, the 1000-litre eS1000 swing loader, and the 6-ton eMDX cabbed dumper.

Now, the company is raising the bar again by introducing two new electric models: the first midi eMWR wheel excavator and the eS900tele telescopic loader.

MECALAC E-SERIES SPEED UP THE MOVE TOWARDS MORE SUSTAINABLE JOBSITES FOR ALL

Mecalac is entering a new chapter of its history by granting its concepts one of its most beautiful letter patent of nobility: “e” for electric, “e” for zero emission and “e” for emblematic.

Mecalac’s E-Series meet the three key requirements for the urban jobsites of today and tomorrow:

    Autonomy, Performance and Compactness.

CLOSING THE GAPS IN ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT

While electric equipments are gaining traction, most solutions are limited to mini products incapable of replacing the diesel machines working on urban sites due to their small size and insufficient autonomy, typically lasting just a few hours. Mecalac identified these gaps and launched an ambitious R&D program to deliver the first medium-sized electric line that meets real-world jobsite demands.

    TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS IN EFFICIENCY

One of the biggest obstacles to medium-sized electric machines has been balancing power demands with op- erational autonomy. Mecalac tackled this challenge with innovative hydraulic systems and smart energy manage- ment, dramatically reducing energy consumption while maintaining peak performance and extending work hours.

    COMPREHENSIVE, ZERO-EMISSION SOLUTIONS

With 2 excavators, 2 swing loaders, and a site dumper now in its portfolio, Mecalac extends the first full medium lineup of emission-free machines capable of handling all critical urban earthmoving tasks—digging, loading, and hauling—on a practical scale.

    TELESCOPINC SWING LOADER

MECALAC SWING LOADERS: A NEW LEGACY

Mecalac’s swing loaders are renowned for their exceptional stability, surpassing traditional loaders, and for their unmatched mobility thanks to three steering modes and a short turning radius. Their hallmark swing design enhances maneuverability, eliminating the need for constant repositioning during loading and unloading cycles—an essential advantage on urban worksites. The ability to simultaneously drive, maneuver, and swing the boom cements their leadership in this category.

Designed in 2022, the eS1000 marked a new step in Mecalac’s journey toward sustainable innovation. This 100% electric swing loader pairs a 75 kWh battery with three independent electric motors—dedicated to the implements, transmission, and swing system—ensuring a seamless simultaneous operation and optimal efficiency throughout an entire day’s work. The eS1000 sets a new standard for sustainability and productivity in compact construction equipment.

Building on this success, Mecalac introduces the eS900tele Telescopic Swing Loader, a compact wheel loader that combines the swing boom concept with the versatility of a telescopic boom.

    eS900TELE: VERSATILITY AND PRECSION

The eS900tele sets a new benchmark for zero-emission performance in urban jobsites. Its telescopic boom features high reach with pallet forks, enabling precise.

handling in tight spaces and adaptability across a broad range of tools and applications. With a maximum lift.

height of 4.72 m (15’5”), the strong telescopic arm,

featuring Z-kinematics, ensures smooth, parallel lifting and precise material placement. The 180° swing function expands the effective working area, making it ideal for confined worksites. Designed for stability and reliability, the eS900tele effortlessly handles even the most demanding tasks.

    YEAR-ROUND PERFORMANCE FOR MUNICIPAL OPERATIONS

Whether working on earthmoving projects, clearing streets in summer, snow removal and salting in winter, or mulching and landscaping in spring, the eS900tele excels in year-round municipal applications. Its remarkable versatility, combined with zero-emission technology, makes it a vital asset for municipalities and contractors seeking an environmentally friendly, high- performance solution for diverse jobsite needs.
